I had planned on at least writing a little story or commentary today. And now you know the next sentence begins with "but". But, I had to run up to grab some Christmas presents to take with me tomorrow on the plane. It's only about 7 miles away. I'm puttering down the highway, on my way home, singing with my Christmas carol CD. The engine starts doing funny things and I'm losing acceleration. Then it dies. Nada, nothing. Thank goodness I was near an exit. I coasted to the exit and down pretty far, with the automatic steering gone, no less, and found a pull out on the exit. I had to wait for the towing service. And now I'm home two hours later! I'm extremely thankful we have AAA.
I still have 2 more projects to finish today before I take off tomorrow. Time to put the sewing machine pedal to the metal!
While growing up we had two Christmas albums. Two. It's hard to believe, I must have 30! Mom had a A Jolly Christmas from Frank Sinatra and A Christmas Sing with Bing Around the World. Essentially that meant we had ONE Christmas Album, who wants to listen to Bing narrate stories about different countries. Pretty boring. I loved and still love the Frank Sinatra album. There are wonderful songs there. Today I'm sharing Jingle Bells!

And because we did have a Bing Crosby album, here's a little Christmas ditty from "The Crooner."
Christmas Dinner Country Style. This is also an educational video because it shows all the young folk what a 45 rpm record looks like on a turntable!
God Bless.
